Each year since its founding in 1991, Misericordia's Hearts & Flour Bakery and Cafe has increased its customer base for direct sales on campus, at farmer’s markets and on-line. This new building located just off the main campus will more directly engage the neighborhood. In the first floor bakery & café residents will mix, bake and package baked goods and coffee. There is an outdoor dining area and for the first time, a drive-up. The second floor is flexible for programs and events and has a broad roof terrace.
